Reiki Master

I’m a working family man with a partner and 3 children.  I believe that spirituality is very important as it pertains to family life.  Growing up I dealt with ADHD.  In an effort to help me manage my ADHD symptoms such as impulse control and mood, my mom introduced some spiritual practices like meditation and breathing techniques which proved to be helpful.  I took these tools with me into adulthood.  When she started practicing Reiki I saw how impactful it was in a way that was different and more meaningful than just day to day interactions with people.  I’ve always known that I had a purpose as a leader spiritually, but Reiki training just solidified that belief.  When my partner was pregnant with our 1st child my interest in spirituality was peaked, I started reading the Bible, reading about Hinduism etc.  Once I started practicing Reiki it resonated with me more than any other spiritual practice.  Not that other religions or practices are incorrect, I was just able to connect very deeply with Reiki.  Living in a world that doesn’t encourage loving everyone, Reiki encompasses and teaches that concept fully.  My goal with Reiki is to spread source energy of love, understanding, healing and abundance, God energy, a desire to see everyone become their higher self.  For me Reiki is the best way to get there.  I want people to know that they don’t necessarily have to seek out a master practitioner to feel Reiki.  They get it from their ancestors.  They can do Reiki on their future, manifest things for their highest good and watch them come to fruition.

Sims Healing Arts is bringing Reiki to clients who may not otherwise experience it. This includes training Reiki practitioners that are Black, Indigenous and People of Color, to expand Reiki’s reach and provide more opportunities for people to receive Reiki in a safe and comfortable space for them.
