Our breath: we can’t live without it. But many of us are never taught how to use it. We breathe over 20,000 times a day, but most of us are unaware of its influence on our brain and nervous system. Breathing is the mind-body connection. If you are tense, your breathing is telling the mind that you are not safe. The breathing and stress connection is why we need to pay attention to our breath.
I work with adults and children who want to reduce stress and anxiety, improve lung health, increase endurance, improve focus, or sleep better.
