Offering Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Herbs, and Cupping.

Donna began down the path of natural healing by way of seeing her father’s health improve significantly through the use and practice of meditation, tai chi, qigong, dietary changes and acupuncture. She decided to take classes at Normandale Community College focused on Eastern healing modalities. Through these classes she witnessed the power behind the bodies own innate capability to heal itself with adjunctive modalities such as tai chi, qigong, and acupuncture.

Donna realized that this was the path that part of her life’s journey was to take - a more holistic approach to health, healing and wellbeing. Donna earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of Minnesota and a Masters of Oriental Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University. She is a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese medicine herbalist. She traveled and studied in China and received a certificate of advanced studies from Henan University of Chinese Medicine. She has worked for over two decades in a hospital setting as a Laboratory Technician. Her acupuncture clinical experience includes internships at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Regions Hospital, Woodwinds Hospital, Pathways Healing Clinic, Salvation Army Community Clinic, Northwestern Health Clinic Bloomington, and University Health Services – De Rusha Clinic. In her spare time Donna volunteers at a local community organization - Circle of Discipline. She also enjoys reading, going for scenic walks and spending time with family and friends.
