When we’re faced with a loss or a setback, it can be difficult to reorient ourselves to our new reality. We go through a grieving process, which is intensely personal.
With all that’s going on in our world right now, many of us are struggling to feel empowered.
In this episode of the Well Connected Twin Cities podcast, I sat down with Chaz Sandifer, a mom who found herself at a low point after her divorce, years ago.
By taking an empowered approach to her wellbeing, inside and out, she transformed both her life and her career.
“If I was going to be the best version of myself, it wasn’t just the outside.”

Now she brings this positive light to the Twin Cities community through her group fitness, wellness classes, and the events she runs at the Camden Farmer’s Market in North Minneapolis.
Most of her fitness classes are now run online, so you can join her from the comfort of your home (which makes a 6:30am bootcamp workout just a little easier).
“If you’re in a dark place, you can work out and you can release that energy in a positive way.”
