An introduction to mindfulness meditation, and a perfect event for those new or curious about the benefits of practicing mindfulness. Participants will get to practice mindfulness meditation, share experiences, and learn at-home ways to practice mindfulness everyday.
This introductory class taught by instructor Moya Mathews is for beginning yoga students seeking personalized, methodical instruction. Participants will learn breathing fundamentals, how to sit and stand in yoga, how to create basic yoga postures in your unique body, and the different types of yoga such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative.
