Carrie Drinkwine

Get to know our local health and wellness professionals in the Twin Cities. We asked local healer Carrie Drinkwine to share a little about her business and what she loves about working and living in the Twin Cities.

Tell us about your business. What do you do?

In my clinic practice I specialize in autoimmune and gut health. I help people heal from acute to chronic conditions and also provide preventative care and overall health through multiple modalities such as regenerative detox, iridology, muscle testing and more. I also support women with PCOS, painful heavy periods, pelvic prolapse, conception, pregnancy, and postpartum care through Arvigo Maya abdominal therapy.

Another sector of my business is supporting like-minded healers to offer regenerative solutions to their community and help then build a more sustainable platform and passive income.

My certifications are: Certified regenerative detoxification specialist/certified nutritionist/certified clinical iridologist , clinical Herbalist and certified Arvigo Maya abdominal therapist.

What drew you to this work?

My own personal journey to health! I was diagnosed with auto immune (lupus, Hashimoto, fibromyalgia and unexplainable infertility) I was sick for many years and my husband and I had five miscarriages in our journey to conceive. I tried many different modalities western and eastern with little alleviation of my symptoms.

Once I started working with a regenerative detoxification specialist, everything in my body healed! It became my life‘s mission to teach people that suffering is optional and to provide knowledge and resources to help people thrive.

What do you love about your job?

I absolutely love to help people reverse acute and chronic conditions, provide hope, education and empowerment to people that may be suffering from any condition from anxiety to cancer. I work solely in regeneration versus supplementation so I get to the root cause of the problem versus supplementing or using a Band-Aid to mask symptoms.

For example, if somebody is anemic or low on iron, the answer is not to supplement them with iron, the answer is to heal the adrenal glands which are responsible for converting iron. I do not work in treatment-based protocols but rather solution-based and regenerative protocols that address the root cause of the symptoms someone may be experiencing.

I have a deep passion for supporting healers to find balance in their practice and not experience burn out. I love supporting entrepreneurs and healers to see another paradigm and way of living. I help educate them on how to support their community with the highest quality organic and sustainable nutrition solutions and build a passive income all while supporting personal and planetary health.

What results can people see when they work with you? What’s possible?

Truly anything is possible! Vibrant health is possible for everyone. The body is designed to heal when you give it the right environment. I have witnessed everything from reversing diabetes, reducing cholesterol dramatically, weight loss, reversing autoimmune conditions, Crohn’s disease, M.S., chronic skin conditions, conception after years of infertility and more.

What do you wish more people understood about what you do?

I wish more people understood the simplicity of our body. We often times make it so complex. I was one of those people that spent thousands of dollars on expensive testing and heavy protocols from Western doctors, hormone specialist, rheumatologist, endocrinologists and naturopathic practitioners.

When I found the path of regenerative detoxification it was almost frustrating how simple it was! it all comes down to opening up the eliminative channels in your body and giving your body the internal environment to heal!

What’s fascinating you right now?

I’m currently in an eight week course with Dr. Zach Bush deepening my knowledge on regenerating the gut health and overall cellular health. I am Learning the art of intermittent fasting and hormone balancing for women and the role that glyphosate and chemical pesticides are playing on our immune, reproductive and soil health.

In this course we are also learning deep solutions to these issues! I’m also in a business development course with Tori Washington and learning so much about identifying the type of entrepreneur I am and how to grow business authentically and help it reflect who I am as a person. This is also helping me support all of the health entrepreneurs I partner with to help them develop their business.

What does self care look like to you right now?

Getting to bed by 9:30, daily mediation, yoga or outdoor walking, and keeping time for personal development.

What do you love about living and working in the Twin Cities?

I love the community here. I truly feel we unite in so many ways. I also feel like we have a pretty progressive healing community that is supportive of referring to other like-minded individuals. I love the lakes, parks, rose gardens, bike paths, and the historic buildings. I love the art scene, the incredible music and all around the passionate people that live here.
